  • Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, meet your driver, and transfer to your accommodation
    Meet your driver who will be waiting for you at the Airport exit lounge, he will have your name printed on the Airport signage to transfer you to accommodation overnight. Afternoon at leisure. Optional activities are available like a Mabamba visit, a Ngamba sanctuary visit, and a sunset cruise. Upon arrival at the airport, your driver will be waiting for you at the exit lounge with a sign displaying your name. He will then transfer you to your accommodation for an overnight stay.     Amabere nga Nyinamwiru, located near Fort Portal, is an interesting place filled with culture and nature. According to local stories, it is named after Princess Nyinamwiru, who was cursed by her father after having a child out of wedlock, which is said to have caused the limestone formations to look like breasts.     Driving from Fort Portal to Semuliki National Park is a scenic journey that takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.  Semuliki National Park is famous for its natural hot springs located in the Sempaya area along the Bundibugyo road. Many tourists flock to these springs to witness the thrilling sight of hot water shooting into the air, surrounded by steam that can be seen from nearly a kilometer away. The hot springs are divided into two sections: the male spring, known locally as Bintene, and the female spring, called Nyasimbi. The female spring is particularly interesting as it acts like a geyser, capable of boiling eggs and Matoke. Visitors are encouraged to bring along some fresh food to enjoy this unique cooking experience.   • Chimp trekking. PM at leisure
    Early in the morning after breakfast, head to the park headquarters, Attend a briefing by ranger guides, where you'll receive important rules and regulations for your chimpanzee trek, The briefing lasts about 15 minutes. Embark on your trek, which usually takes over 3 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees. As you approach them, their distant humming grows louder, prompting you to quicken your pace to keep up with their movements deeper into the forest. Witness the thrill of seeing chimpanzees up close for the first time, swinging gracefully between trees and striking various poses. Initial anxiety often gives way to amazement and delight, as these creatures are surprisingly welcoming. Spend an hour with the chimpanzees, capturing photos and learning from the ranger about their families in Kibale Forest, mating habits, daily lives, and feeding behaviors. After this remarkable experience, exit the forest to the park headquarters to receive your trekking certificate. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to approximately 250 large cats, including lions and leopards. The southern sector of the park is known for its unique tree-climbing lions. The lion tracking activity operates daily and accommodates up to 50 tourists across morning, afternoon, and night sessions. Your lion tracking adventure begins with a briefing from a researcher at the park headquarters. You'll learn essential guidelines for the experience before venturing into the savanna plains. Accompanied by the researcher in a vehicle, you'll track the movements of these majestic predators. At times, the researcher may veer off marked trails or use a radio collar to locate the lions. Once the predators are spotted, the vehicle engine is turned off to avoid disturbing them. The researcher will share detailed insights into the lives of these cats, offering a research-focused perspective. The data collected during these encounters contributes significantly to understanding the behaviors and habits of these predators. Tourists have the opportunity to observe how the lions feed, interact, defend themselves, hunt prey, and witness the playful antics of their young. It's an educational and immersive experience into the world of these fascinating animals. After your morning lion tracking experience in the Kasenyi plains, return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon, prepare for an unforgettable Kazinga Channel boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You can take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park. It's located on the northern side of the park, specifically at Mweya Peninsula. The cruises run in the morning or afternoon. The channel is 40 km long and connects Lake Edward to Lake George. During the 3-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, you can see wildlife resting along the shores, such as African buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and monitor lizards.   • Drive to South Queen National Park from the Northern side of the Park. PM Game drive.
    The drive from the Mweya sector to the Ishasha sector takes about 2 – 3 hrs.  Enjoy an afternoon game drive following designated trails of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is home to 95 mammal species, including the iconic Big Five (lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinoceros in some areas), as well as 10 primate species and over 600 bird species, making it one of Uganda's premier birding destinations. Many visitors flock to the southern sector of the park to spot the famous tree-climbing lions resting on the branches of humid trees. Dinner and overnight at Enjojo Lodge. Enjojo Lodge derives its name from a historical event where an elephant was born on the lodge's land during its construction; "Enjojo" is the local name for elephant.     After your breakfast, meet your driver guide to start on your journey to Bwindi National Park. The scenic drive is 2 – 3 hrs . Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Lodge. Buhoma Lodge is perfectly situated inside Bwindi National Park, offering stunning views of the lush forest where gorillas are often spotted near the lodge. The lodge features 10 cozy cottages designed like traditional Ugandan homes, spaced apart for privacy and comfort.     Guests trekking Gorillas in the Northern side of the park. Either trek the Gorilla families in the Buhoma sector or the Ruhija sector. The day starts with breakfast at your accommodation, your guide will take you to the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) Park headquarters, and the distance between the park headquarters and the accommodation depends on where you are overnighting. Guests overnighting on the Buhoma side while trekking Gorillas in the Ruhija sector need to drive for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, while the route is scenic – it is important to note that it is bumpy. At the Park headquarters, you will sign in and get briefed by a ranger about trekking rules, like no flash photography near gorillas. You'll then be assigned a gorilla family to track with your ranger for the day. Get ready for an amazing experience with Africa's gentle giants! You'll hike through dense forests on marked trails, searching for gorillas. Since they move around, the trek can last anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, but you might find them sooner. Spending an hour with these incredible animals is unforgettable—many find it thrilling and humbling. While the focus is on gorillas, you might also see other primates, birds, and unique trees. After visiting the gorillas, return to the headquarters for a participation certificate. Tips before your trek:
    • Be physically fit for the 2 to 8-hour hike.
    • Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water, as return times can vary.
    • Wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt over a t-shirt, and sturdy walking or hiking shoes.
    • Bring insect repellent, sunscreen, and a rain jacket.
